Coin has been weighed several different sources and weighs 22.91 grams. May be silver, no two color and has a bright finish. Wings and tail feathers are extremely well delineated. IGWT appears somewhat thickened.
#1 - It is an Ike dollar. #2 - The weight for a clad Ike is 22.68 grams #3 - The extra weight is probably plating.
Silver issue is 24.59 g. clad is 22.68g on the Ike. In case you did not see my blunder, the pics are correct, it is an IKE and NOT a Kennedy.
Thanks, but the question remains about tolerance. You know, +/- x.xxg. Some who has that info will come along eventually.
I googled around and found this http://www.pcgs.com/books/silver-dollars/Chapter20Listings-019.aspx Which indicates this coin is in the tolerance for Clad.
