ohhhh...they were jokin on me. the funny part is i didnt even say i was getting it. and the whole "punt" thing, and then the "punt, ill get mine in silver"...i mean, the post was ABOUT the silver set. i dont get it.

 

There's a silver proof quarter set, and then later there's a silver proof set (with other coins) that includes the silver proof quarters.

 

Not sure what you're missing, but we're discussing the silver proof quarter set.

Geez, this is like an Abbott and Costello routine. There is a silver proof QUARTER set released each year and also a SILVER PROOF set released each year (which includes the quarters).

Rysherms was referring to the QUARTER set and those who said they would get them in the silver proof set were referring to the SILVER PROOF set.

 

I simply keep the silver proof quarter set and the silver proof set as my go to birthday/x-mas gift suggestions. That way they cost me $0 and I make it easy for family to get me gifts. Win-win all around.

 

Did they finally stop selling the 2011 silver proof quarter sets? And I was just about to order one.
