I think I might pull the trigger. I have been saving to get a 1934 S dollar in MS 63 or at least begin looking. Just curious of buy and ask gray sheet prices. Any suggestions on where to begin the online search. There's a couple of shows coming up and where this is a very high end coin for me I plan on taking some time.

I have been looking at my shops for a few years now as I have known I've wanted one and I have only seen one and it was toned something bad. I guess I lied the other one was way over priced and it had a nice bag mark on the jaw and cheek.

  9. You can get a good idea how much they have bringing in the top two TPG plastics with CoinFacts from PCGS. If you can't access it, send me a PM, and I can give you the last auction prices for the last 4 auctions for NGC and PCGS encapsulated coins.

You can also look at ha auction archives and see past results there or stacks bowers may be a good place to look for one as they probably handle them somewhat frequently and you can pick and choose and wait for one that you really like instead of settling for what you can find local

Personally I'd never buy a coin like this on ebay unless it was from a dealer you really trusted
