I almost went blind searching all of my Mercs to find one over the years and never did...had two of them walk into the store this week!
these probably came from some collectors stolen collection. here where I live the pill heads steals everything not tied down and trades the coins for pills or meth. these freaks don't know the difference between a thousand dollar coin and a regular coin.I lost some of mine and my brother in law had a huge collection saved up for his disabled son and he passed away and the thieves hauled the safe off .
It is not quite clear there rascal, are you calling me a fence or a drug dealer? I think you might be thinking of some of the unlicensed fly by night type of businesses that deal in metals. You know what happens when you assume, although in this case it is only you.
No I was not talking about you . you took what I wrote all wrong . I was talking about where they probably came from., notice I said probably . regardless of who or what brought them to the store it is untelling where they came from . folks don't just find coins like these laying around.
For those of us who don't know what you were looking for, what did you find? Looks like a Mercury Dime.
