Comparable MS notes of the very same issue sold for around $1800, so definitely a spam listing, but "anything goes" seems to be the way ebay regulates sellers, unless stolen goods are involved.
hmmm well, I guess when he gets tired of this, he'll continue his letter-a-day campaign to the government....
Obviously dealers are offering him way less for the note. I'll bet he overpaid for it and now he can't get his money back out of it. So he is hopping mad at them (The dealers) because he didn't buy it right. Where he got duped was on the rarity of the serial number. That's the big problem with error's and fancy serial numbers, there isn't any book on real value, just what the market will pay on any given day. If he can find another collector willing to pay his price, then that's what it will be worth. Lets hope it never happens. I think the Grim Reaper will find him before that buyer does.
I can't help but agree. He probably over paid seeing how it's a serial #1. Too bad they are so common with nationals.
This is the most crazy listing I've ever seen! His description is what really made me smile, thanks for sharing, I needed a laughter
I must get in contact with the sucker, i mean person who buys this. I have many many notes to sell them. Then I'll sell him a bridge or a tunnel..... lol
Here is another one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dishonest-D...032?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2587c7e778 I'm sure the targets of his ire are quaking in their boots!
I doubt he would survive very long on any coin forum, as he has apparently survived on ebay for quite a while.
