what kind of error?

    I was wondering if anybody could tell me if this is an error in the word "dollar" ar is all messed up... and also theres like a crack in "america"...

    Dan, we'll still need a bigger picture to tell what's going on. I presume the crack you mention is raised.In that case it would be a die crack. As to the AR in Dollar,we'll need a enlargement. ~ Jim

    200? dime

    i also found this dime i got back as change., i dont know if its an error or if it just got worn down , it looks like its maybe supposed to be a 2000 p dime but who knows, maybe the other zero just didnt get stamped, maybe ya'll can help me on this one also :)

    I think it's obvious that the quarter took a hit and pushed the metal on the quarter. It's damage.
    As for the dime it's probably struck through grease. They don't "stamp" dates on the dies and forget numbers. That's not how the minting process works. I suggest studying the minting process and that will help in telling the difference between errors, varieties and damage.
