    What you have there is a Patriotic Civil War Token. It is a Fuld 16/300, with a Rarity of 3. The16/300 are the die numbers used in that pairing, Rarity 3 indicates a estimated number in existence of 501 to 2000. While somewhat common, yours appears to be in quite good condition, base on your pics I would guess about AU condition.

    Value is of course what someone is willing to pay. A quick search on eBay completed auctions found this identical token, maybe in a tad better condition that sold for $36

    Thank you very much for your information. I had found one that looked similar that was valued at 395.00 but there was no L on it and the reverse where the swords crossed did not have similar markings above and below the cross.

    You are welcome. Similar tokens with the number 18 die have Rarity ratings of 7 and 9, which would easily account for the value difference.
