Can you post a few images of a few coins directly (as in not on an angle)? This would greatly help in determining the value. Mint or proof set, they look like they are in really nice condition.
The one that looks most like a proof from what I can see is the cent. Straight-on pictures would help us with the diagnosis...
looks like a nice set, check the 42 walker, and see if the designer signature is there, its on the reverse, by the eagles lower wing
heres a link for you http://iddd.us/forum/index.php/topic,70.0.html make sure your looks like that one, could be worth some money
if thats your set, your one luck man, i've seen nice graded ones try to go for thousands of dollars, not sure what they sold for, but thats is a rare error
My pictures do not do these justice, however in the last picture you can see the fields in the dime just pop.
Well now I'm stumped, it does have many proof qualities, especially the mercury dime and I don't see any bag marks on any of the coins. The Washington quarter image looks like a business strike, but I don't see any bag marks. Hmmmmm.
I just received this along with the California Factional in the other thread as well as some other stuff from my grandmothers coin collection. There is also a 1911 2 1/2 dollar gold coin that looks mint, and a 43 D Walker that I think will grade out at 66 or 67. There is a lot of MS Merc Dimes as well. Should I get the set graded Rick?
take some photos of that half, then send them to an error expert, and tell them you would like to get your coin look at, and tell him why, then they will tell you what you have to do
