Just got this in the mail today. I'd love to get your opinions on grade.

    1964 Washington Quarter Type B copy.jpg

Obverse: I see a hit on the neck and two on his jawline/cheek. The fields have minor scratches that are really over-exaggerated with the photos. In hand, the coin is proof-like.

Reverse: Definitely the strongest side. Clean fields and only two minor hits on the eagles' wings (Under the I of UNITED on the left and under the second A of AMERICA on the right.) Not a single mark on the eagles' chest.

I'm thinking it's either an MS65 or MS66, probably a 67 on the reverse and a 64/65 on the obverse. What do you think? Is it worth sending in for encapsulation? Top Pop in all three TPG for this year/variety is MS66, with less than ten achieving that grade.

Notch/split in the T? Furrow down the W?

There is what looks like a dent in the left side of the first T in TRUST, and I think furrow is a good way to describe the middle of the W in WE. Thoughts?

this is the right reverse for the proof coins . the proof reverses were used for some regular strike coins , this is why they are called type B reverse coins.
