Well I bought it for $89.00 in 2009 so I guess so, buy you have to sell it to actually see the gain and I do not intend to sell it yet.

 

is that an actual piece of the moon in the coin?

 

it made a nice $$$ return. I am glad to hear that you are holding on to it. the only way I would sell a coin is if I had to or trade up for an upgrade.

Oh sorry, it is a meteorite off of the moon that was verified as a piece of it.

Last one I found that sold at auction at ebay sold for around $500. I think that is a bit to high but there is a sucker born every day!!!

 

that guy is nuts. $1,324.00 that price is laughible. I think $180 is more realistic. as with any collectible....it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
