Sadly, I only own the "1901-present" catalogue for "world coins" (*sigh*) ... but I will drop-by and view your ol' worldly beauties from time-to-time ... => ummm, here is a world coin for you guys to track-down:
yup => K #24 is correct ... ICCS rated it VF30 (apparently my home photo doesn't do the coin justice)
Here two I have knowledge of that are wanting a new home . One raw one is graded that should be re graded.Ngc misses it big time. This is the highest dollar wise. Raw too. I don't know it's history .
I saw that 5 centavos on ebay. Premium to high for a cheaper coin due to NGC grading. Look at this specimen for 15 US. http://articulo.mercadolibre.cl/MLC-415257134-moneda-bolivia-5-centavos-1893-_JM
OK, here is a challenge. Need KM#s for the 1949 and the 1980. The 1949, not to difficult, but, the 1980, can you get that one? A little trickier. Look closely.
KM# M49a. Mexico 1 Onza 1949 KM#M49B.5. Mexico 1 Onza 1980 (Left scale pan points to the U of UNA; Type 5). Nice coin!
KM#M49b.5, according to Krause the Left scale should be pointing between the U and N. My guess it's a 1980 with the reverse of 1979, which is KM# M49b.3, scale points to U. Or there is a misprint in my 2010 copy. So I guess I have a M49b3.5? There is a 1980/70 variety but I can't see any indication of an over-strike on my coin. Or is there?
