I have like 120 of these Red Seal $2 bills, just didn't know if this was the highest known serial for that production run. Looking to get rid of some of the ones that aren't in high grade.
There was an E-A block of the '28G series, so while the serial is high for D-A block notes, you've got another 30,760,000 notes in the E-A block afterwards. As Rick said, however, any $2 LT (especially the '28 stuff) is a keeper.
I got 66.00 in 1928 $2.00 notes today at the casino. It pays to know the Cage manager, lol! We split them up, she bought half, and I bought half. She got all the 1963's while I took the 28's. I have no clue if I have anything worth over face. Most are in fine condition.
'28B is by far the most valuable, followed by '28A, followed by '28 (Plain). Everything else is good, but doesn't come close to the scarcity of the first 3 series. Let us know the breakdown (and some pictures!)
No 28B's or A's and no plain. Most of them are Series G, then C,D,E,F. I will post pics when I get the time.
The pics I took aren't that great to see the numbers. However here are a few, I don't know if the plate numbers would be considered a mule or not. 1928 Series C Front Pate # G123 Back # 236 Series 1928 F Front C461 Back 350
