Two of my favorites that I sent in to both NGC and CAC personally.

This one I bought with the Gold CAC on it....and is my only coin that I have bought with a sticker on it. I didn't buy it because of the sticker, I bought it because a friend of mine gave me a good deal on a coin that I collected. I later found a nice bonus on the coin. I sent it off to Wiles who later confirmed the find. The coin is listed in CONECA, but not the CPG. There is mention of this variety in the CPG, but under the 1933D listing.

Man, I wish my camera didn't suck. I bought this coin raw and sent it in to NGC then to CAC. The coin displays awesome gun metal blue colors on both the obverse and reverse which are obviously not captured in the picture.

I know if must be fun and exciting for some collectors to buy a coin with the green bean on it.....but if you really want to challenge yourself, go buy a raw coin and start the process of sending it in to a TPG and then to CAC. You will learn a lot of things about yourself and the industry.

Myself I buy the coin not the sticker many of my coins would merit one but a lot of them were graded before cac and I just don't bother if I was to go and sell them maybe I would cause I'd get more but I enjoy them as they are

I buy the coin too, but I only look at ones already CAC'd so I filter out the raws and un-stickered. I know this is a controversial approach, but I am STILL be very picky of what I spend money on, there are plenty of CAC coins I skip right over. In my mind, I am only shrinking the pond, not reeling in every ugly fish that comes along. And the pond is still too big for my budget!

I agree finding a raw coin and getting it graded and then TPG is the real challenge, and requires more skill. I don't currently possess such skills but really I'm too much of a scaredy-cat for this approach.

    Very nice coins to all!

Very cool, and a great picture showing the tripling+.

Thank you! According to Wiles these are commonly rare. LOL! Basically, because of the low mintage, they are obviously more scarce than the average coin, but this was a common occurrence with this issue so they don't command any more premium over an example without the tripling. Just a little bit of looking, one should be able to turn up more examples. I have seen a few on ebay.
