I got 15 rolls that day, 10 BWR and 5 CWR. The score was in a CWR.

 

Personally, I would go to any bank if the customers or the bankers rapped for me!

 

my bank doesnt even have real rolls.... its all in envelopes of $10 FV

 

$140 dollars in halves in customer wrapped rolls from a Wells Fargo. Just walked up to counter and asked for Halves. Found one whole roll of 90% and 2 complete rolls of 40%. That was the best day ever.

 

Exactly one quarter (1940) in a box.

 

I got a 43P in change at the gas station a few weeks ago.

 

I can't exactly remember my best totals however I got 7 40% silver pieces out of $2000 worth of halves from bank rolled boxes (4 boxes in total). I got no 90% silver coins unfortunately. Not worth the effort in my opinion.

Oh well at least you got silver, and maybe you can take them to your local coin shop and trade them in for 90% silver! congrats HH

 

My best ever was 36 40% out of I think $28 face last year. I asked if they had halves and the teller said yes "I have $28 in an envelope and some are silver". She counted them out in front of me and I could hear the silver every time she placed one on the counter.

 

Wow and she gave 'em to you like that. What a kind lady!

 

actually i find silver quite frequently. last wednesday got 22 40% and 1 90% out of 2 $16. a man deposited them through the drive up while i was in line!

 

I've had this happen to a lesser extent but was talking about when roll hunting.

 

Well my nicest "steal" is getting 2 Half dollar rolls at the bank. i got 2 40%ers and a proof.
