1969 D dime with very raised edges?

    Hello, I have a 1969 D dime with very raised edges? What made it that way? Is it worth anything? In advance thank you for your help.

    Well, it is post mint damage... more than likely your coin spent some time spinning around in a clothes dryer. Here's what can happen to coins that are subject to this type of "torture":

    The one on the lower left looks just like mine. You sure you didn't lose it and I found it?
