You still on that? it shows me where Your head is at for real. and number 2 I know for a fact You a amateur like myself so I never really listen to You cause Your wrong 99.9 percent of the time and thats a fact! what was Your last find??? You always quick to respond to a post and everything You know about coins is off the internet. its a old saying if You dont know the answer keep Your mouth shut! I bet if I sent half the coins in I have to be for arbitration You would be the first to stop logging in for the simple fact You always have an answer for everything and are almost of the time You wrong! one thing I noticed about this site is once one person says thats not it everyone else responds I AGREE thats a shame its like very few of You have Your own opinions and thats sad. You guys sit around and make fun of people in their post for being wrong how childish is that? if someone is trying to learn You dont discourage them. Whats so disturbing about it is that You are all. grown men. GROW UP!! I rarely see You guys that are always picking at people post anything that You found and when You do Your asking the same question I am but then turn around an act like you know what Your talking about. Im here cause I love the coin world period not to bash, brag or boast! NON_CENTS lets go find for find? I bet my collection is better than yours and I been collecting less than 6 months and we are not even talking about errors I can post a 1992 CAM that will bring You to hault! but that would be childish and I dont do childish things. so asking me something about something from 3 months ago shows me exactly who You are.

Woah woah woah...not sure how my question in any way provoked that sort of a response.
You say you don't do childish things...

Ever heard of an opinion or an educated guess? I am free to post whatever I wish, whether it be opinion or fact.

I don't ALWAYS have an answer for everything, but when I feel I can give an educated guess, I do. And just because YOU think I am wrong doesn't actually make me wrong...I suppose that all the members that have agreed with my statements in the past are also wrong, and you are the only one that's correct here?

Funny enough, in the previous sentence you claim that you don't bash, brag or boast, yet the last few sentences are exactly that...claiming you have a better collection and calling me out for not posting my finds.

Well, first of all, what does having a lot of recent finds have anything to do with one's knowledge? I have studied die varieties and numismatics extensively for the past 3 years, have nationally-recognized authors and die attributors as personal friends, and moderate a forum that deals almost exclusively in die varieties and errors.

I'd post find for find with you, though frankly I have sold off most of my doubled dies and am now more into the education side of the hobby than the searching side. But between over 50 cherrypicker varieties, tubes full of repunched mintmarks, hundreds of moderate and minor doubled dies a few discovery pieces listed on coppercoins.com, and many educational threads on this forum, you may want to recheck your facts about me.

I have in no way attacked your character, called you any names, or have insulted you. All I have done in your threads is give opinions (and sometimes facts).

On the other hand, a paragraph full of bashing members, saying that 99% of the time they are wrong, telling them to keep their mouths shut, claiming that we don't have our own opinions, then saying something silly like "I bet my collection is better than yours" tells me exactly who YOU are, Tommy.

I'll take it that you're not going to let us know what the results of the submission were, which is a shame because I really did want to know. But judging from the tone of your latest post, I think most members are smart enough to know what the results were.

I wish you the best of luck in your searching. Honestly, I do. But don't take offense to posts that are only other people's opinions on your coins.

I dont take offense to any post trust me thats not my nature but I dont have to agree with anything You said. also why would You inbox me about the 1940 cent and post it in the thread what was the purpose for that? and I wasnt comparing my collection it was just an example of the childishness I see on the site. I can pull up plenty of threads where You and others on the site are posting childish things in someones thread. this is all the time here its always a debate like seriously! post Your opinion and be respectful.
I found a 1883 Indian Head Cent and theres not 1 post or 1 like why is that? but yet we sitting here talking about a 1940 cent and the post was about a 1969s and a 1971 how did we go from that to the 1940? NON_CENTS post some finds..

Why do you keep insisting I post my finds? This thread isn't about me, and I don't have anything to prove by posting finds. All you need to do is look back in my created threads and you'll see when I used to do my "die variety a day" series when I would post my finds about a year or so ago.

Are you saying there is no update to give about this 1940? You are always criticizing others to post finds/prove themselves, yet you yourself seem reluctant to give us the verdict on this one.

Dang tommy, I thought with the recent finds you would have turned the corner into a respected contributor. I guess I was wrong. You still want to argue with well respected members while making false claims about junk coins. You're even disrespecting a moderator. Come on tommy. Swallow a little pride and learn with the rest of us. Everyone is wrong sometimes. I hate being wrong probably more than anyone on this forum, but I will admit I'm wrong when people with more knowledge point it out.

I mean no disrespect with this post, but the attacks are getting a little funny. Your rep points just head toward The bottom with arguments like these. Best of luck!

Im not arguing with anyone why would NON_CENTS post a question about a thread and inbox me asking the same question? If You look at all my threads I say whats on my mind and leave it alone. come on dont act like its me because this happens to alot a new members on here and I have the right to agree or disagree period. how do we go from taking about 2 cents I posted today to the 1940 cent I posted 3 months ago? If Im wrong about my finds then I will find out. Its no need to go on if I say I dont agree with a person come lets be serious. and we are still going on with this thread why is no one talking about 1883 cent I just found or the others finds I made?

I pm'ed you because the last time I asked for an update there was no response, so I thought if I pm'ed you you would remember and give the update. There's no alterior motive at play here.

There is no connection between the threads posted today and this thread. I just remembered that a little while back you promised me that when you got the results you'd post them.

What's so tough about giving us the results? It's either "yes, PCGS said it was a doubled die" or "no, PCGS said it was not a doubled die".

Maybe if you just took the 5 seconds to answer my honest question about the results, we can put this whole thing to rest and move on with our lives.

You 100% have the right to agree or disagree with the opinions given by members and I respect that. I think it's a little bit more of the "how" you disagree (maybe as in the tone of a post for example)that sometimes turns honest threads into something less spectacular.

I think if ALL the members (including the person starting the thread) post with more kindness, humility and respect, we will get along much better...I will certainly work on doing so. :)

Tommy continues to post threads like this in which he insults the people who are trying to help him learn, tells them they are "wrong 99% of the time", and that he will prove us all wrong when he get's it back from the TPG. Given that, I think it's quite valid to revisit these threads and ask for the proof that he promised. There is nothing wrong with asking questions and taking a contrarian view, but Tommy continues to insult every expert here who disagrees with him, and he deserves it when others refuse to allow him to sweep these threads under the rug.

WOW...I have been following this thread since the beginning and also have been waiting for the results from the TPG. I am just dumbfounded by the recent posts. Sitting here at work just shaking my head. Sad!

OK folks, I can understand why everyone would like to know the outcome, but a simple reminder should be enough. Please do not get to the badgering stage of harassment.
