No. Please do us all a favor and research some errors. That way, you can post a thread asking about a single specific error and realize why it can't be an error, instead of throwing out random scenarios or explanations every time a member tells you your coin is damaged.

Changing the color doesn't change the fact that the coin is damaged. You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. Really, how long can this mess go on???

It's all about the color you dont see a coin untill you see it's true colors... I like the colors this coin atributes. I contributed the formula use or not. Your opinions are noted as we all see. Dont like dont Click.

Here it is with a second 1985 P quarter that has some kind of roller marks.

The concave on the quarter that is on the right is so extreme when you flash a light around it and is very cool looking the way the concave shines. The coin on the left with roller marks has a perfectly flat surface and the roller marks are shiny and you can tell they disrupted the minted field of the coin and part of Washington's neck line.

The mint marks are different to. Oh its an 83 i thought it was 85. Anyone know anything about the mint marks? How long does the average die last months or years?

Incomplete clip!or out of collar pre-strike with second incollar normal strike. but it may be something else! As i have said. Again I do not care for graded coins that are perfectly normal and and ment to be that way. Damage? sure but its common for circulated coin to show some ware or as you call it damage. That is not what this is about!

the damage happened after the coin left the mint, and that IS what its all about...

OK time for a little education... It is not an incomplete clip because the blanks are cut BEFORE the rim is upset. the incomplete clip wouldn't show clearly on the upset rim. It is not an out of collar prestrike and then in collar strike because an out of collar strike would expand the planchet enough that it wouldn't fit in the collar for the second strike. It also isn't a mark that appeared on the planchet in any way before the strike because the damage wouldn't show across the letters as they would be pressed into the die and fill in any indent. This is simply damage that happened after the coin left the mint and therefor will never be worth more than 25 cents.

OP does not need or want an education, he just wants to pull legs. It's the only fun he gets while living in Mommy's basement with a computer that blocks everything not rated"G".
