What is a 1981-S SBD proof in perfect condition worth? I don't have a picture.

It appears to be a type 2. My eyes aren't what they used to be and it's kind of hard to see the mintmark.

If it is a type 2 proof, it's worth more than few bucks.

Not talking cameo, the 81S type 2 proof SBA starts at around $100 for a PR60 and tops out at about $155 for a PR69.

Cameo $120 to $165, and DCAM/UCAM(means the same thing just two different TPGs is all) about $130 to $800(PR70).

I gave 5 bucks for it, which I thought was more than fair. It was marked $7 but he gave me a discount.

    I'm willing to be it's type 1.

I'll look at it closer using a better magnifying glass next time I go to Arkansas.
