I have no idea but I kind of like the style of that bill! I'm interested to hear what that may be worth.

Actually it is a fairly common confederate bill and your looks a little roughly cut of on the left side i would say i don't see you getting much more then 20 dollars for this bill !!

Confederate money is a funny thing and isn't worth as much as most people expect !!

No it isn't, but that's great for the collector! I love grabbing cheap common Confederate notes. It's a good way to obtain some civil war era history at a decent price. Some of the notes do get up in price, but you can get quite a bit for under $50, especially the regional bank notes.

It's a T-69, which is quite common. Your specimen appears to be incomplete; the cut on the right-hand side looks too clean and perfect to be original IMO.

My guess is that the notes were seen as useless for quite awhile (during and especially after the war). I like them for their historical significance. The civil war is a very interesting time period that I like to study, so to have something from that era, is very meaningful to me.

As for my favorite note, I only own a few as of now. Definitely want to get more, but with gold and silver being on the low, I tend to go for those. lol Here's the notes I have.

The Georgia note is my favorite of the three.

The counterfeit's were always better than the mint.

Picked up this bad boy today. It's a Jan 1863 Alabama one dollar note. Yet another note for the collection!
