I just bought this off ebay. The pictures were taken by the seller. What's it worth? I think I got a pretty good deal on it.
It's a common date and its circulated...so I don't know that I would say it's worth much more than melt. Currently, melt is $7.55. It might be worth a little more but I would say $9 tops.
But... you have to remember, the OP bought this through eBay, where "good deals" are hit or miss. Look at this piece of garbage 1945 Walker that sold for $20.50: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1945-P-Walk...Silver-Coin-a382-/151163525042#ht_2360wt_1121 Here's the photo from this $20.50 auction:
My guess is retail around $15. The coin looks XF to me. It would need a tad more facial detail and more definition of the lines in the gown for AU. I don't think it shows the luster for AU either.
True... but what it's worth and what it will sell for on eBay are two different things. However, you and others have answered the OP's question... it's worth melt.

Like I said before the gentleman I bought 202 from had them stored in a 1 quart oil can! View attachment 296982 View attachment 296983
