Apparently this isn't the only Dolce & Gabbana coin dress:

Not at all - the top dress should be mandatory attire for female ancient coin collectors! I really hope this brings some mainstream attention to our hobby. My better half has trouble picking out dresses and I finally have something I can suggest ;)

Several popular blogs have written articles on it: (from PerezHilton.com)

    "
When in Rome, do as the Romans do rock Roman looking coins on your dress!

Scarlett Johansson was in Rome to attend the premiere of Her at the 8th Rome Film Festival on Sunday, so she did exactly that!

Wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress covered in coin and floral print, the actress looked fresh and young in the feminine number. We’re just surprised she didn’t wear a floor-length gown; it probably got pretty chilly in a short, sleeveless frock on a late November evening!

ScarJo matched the medallions on her dress to metallic Jimmy Choo sandals, then finished up her look with dazzling drop earrings and a statement ring.

While we love the outfit, we hope she didn’t freeze her bum off!!"

I like the gold coin dress idea but not the style. Ditto for the printed dress, too 'little girl' in style.

Y'know, these days you can design your own printed fabric online. Not exotic material, but still... I've got sewing machines, pictures of coins...

    Hmm.

NO! Then demand for coins will go up which will cause them to go up! We dont want ancient prices to end up like U.S. :(;)
