Picked this up a few days ago, pretty common silver coin but I liked its look

Thanks Steve, it was a bit of a 'surprise' after I freed it from it's holder as the dealer hadn't indicated which edge lettering variety it was and couldn't remember as he had the coin so long. The other variety, Pos B (edge letters are upright with the obverse facing up), is a bit rarer but no real $ effect unless its MS.

Wow. That's nice. I thought it might be kind of a rare coin, since the state of South Peru was only around for a couple of years. It was centered in Arequipa, and it was a front for Bolivia trying to get some ocean frontage. Thanks Derick!

I picked out these few out of a 3 kilo lot of mixed coins I bought today along with two WWI bayonets and some odd military stuff.
Although I`m keeping most of them, I think just one or two coins in this pic will cover my outlay for the whole lot.(£50)
I did ask on another post about the two ancients as I don`t know much about them.
