This year, can be up to quadrupole struck, Its already posted on the ike group, with one response so far, heres the link http://forum2.ikegroup.info/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=2000&p=9175#p9175
If Md its a odd one."God" is what make me think its not Md its. Richard I would have a expert look at this one. I know I am not a expert .
I also have it posted on the ike groups site, they want me to take more photos of it, so thats what I'm going to do
I have to take more photos, I'm going to show light for all four side, or flip the coin four different ways
I don't think its MDD, would be flat doubling, or shelve like, all letters have round doubling, somebody on ike group sent me a private message, told me it could be a one of a kind, they thought it was triple struck, not like a DDO, almost like the 1969-s linoln cent, I'll repost it when I finish photos
The 1969-S lincoln cent IS a doubled die. There is also a large difference between a double/triple struck coin and a doubled die. A double strike is a coin that is struck twice by the dies, whereas a doubled die is a coin that was struck once by a die that was doubled during the hubbing process. When the link to the ikegroup thread was working ,the person commented that it looks like their example of master die doubling, which seems like a plausible explanation.
