Woah! I can't believe this is happening, this is truly my lucky day!
I came back from the bank, and got 15 dollars in cents and 40 in nickels. That's all
they had that was customer bank wrapped. I took it gladly, not knowing the contents.
I saw 2 old looking cent rolls, and ignored it. Probably a bunch of 70's or 80's.
I started, and I swear the first roll....

Was completley filled with the honey hole of wheat cents. Filled. Not a single 1958 or after.
    There were even several 1910's and 1920's and 1930's even a 1909! and probably a F-12 atleast!
I was so excited, I thought I was dreaming. Later, I even found a second roll filled with wheat cents as well! And that's only out of 6 rolls, theres plenty more but since they look in the newer rolls, I don't expect much. This is so exciting!

For some reason, my computer keeps freezing when I upload Pics. I'll see if i can do so later!

I know wheat cents are not incredibly valuable, but finding large numbers is rare, and really an exciting feeling! I just filled in like 40 slots in my album!

I think this was spent by some kid who inherited it by his grandparents, and went to a coin dealer and they said they wouldn't pay nohing for them, and so they spent it in the bank. I think the coin's were from a dealer the two rolls I found with wheat cents were very old looking rolls, I had never seen them before. And written on one's side was 1955 although in that role there was a mixture of 50's 40's and earlier.

Customer wrapped rolls are best, as us "old folk" cash out our coins to help make ends meet. Seniors that are "old school" and dislike technology avoid the coin counters and do it the old way (hand counting and wrapping). So it's a matter of timing, or knowing a teller... but grab these whenever you can.

That's nice I just found another in a roll with 40 wheat cents, mixed with 10 1959 and after cents. That's just nice!

It's a shame I found a 1911 wheat cent, a 1913, and a really good condition 1919-s Wheat cent, as much semi keys and keys there were from 1910-1920. Nevertheless a heck of a find!

Edit: Must say, it's the little things that make life worth living.

I thought finding 4 wheats in a single roll was good luck. Congrats on the find. Is the 1909 a VDB?

The 1909 was a plain 1909. still good first year in decent condition!

The VDB on my 1909 is so faint that it might as well not be there, You can only see it in certain light situations

Nice score. When I was just starting CRH last year I bought $5 in CWR from a bank near where I was working. I got 3 solid rolls of wheats mostly teens, 20s, and 30s. I went back and asked for more but it was all they had. They got them from a church deposit. Some little old lady probably put them in the donation plate on Sunday morning. My best score to date.
