Are you getting these from BWR or CWR?

Box of nickels - 43S, 43P, 44P, 05 Ireland Euro, 05 Norwegian 1 Krone (my first Norwegian find)

Funny thing of this was the box had an inspected by stamp on it, yet the two foreign were in the same roll and another roll had a 2012 cent in it. Must be they just inspect the box at the end to make sure there are 50 rolls in it.

$70 in nickels (combo CWR and BWR) - 45P, 64 proof, and a nice 68S

I have been averaging 10-12 pre 1960 per box. Sometimes more. I think I have a decent supplier for these. The halves...were ...eh.

    This week's bank wrapped box of pennies: 7 wheats (1951-D (2), 1952, 1953-D (3), 1955-D) 1959, 1959-D (3), 1999 Canadian, and 534 pre-83 copper cents.

    10 bank wrapped nickels brought me: 1941, 1947, 1952-D, 1955-D, 1959-D, and two war nickels: 1944, 1945.

Half day at work today gave me 4 wheats: '39, '44D, 53S(my first), '58.
Also found a 2006 1$ star note with the serial number having 7777 in it.

I've had it! I'm through. 16 boxes this weekend only produced 7-40% and 1-90%.
I've gone through 31 boxes without a 90%, and only getting .634 40% coins per box. Those are too much of 'wasted time' numbers. I'll unload the boxes I've ordered from the banks this week and post those results, but I'm cutting myself off.
    I need more family time.

Sorry to hear the results have been rough. Just give it a few weeks and let the silver build back up in your area, or maybe try a different denomination. How close are you to the 1,000 40%'s?

It's pretty much dried up for halves anymore... Unfortunately I got in too late but managed a few good finds. Everytime I go out for rolls or have my bank order them it seems I find more and more marked coins and any CWR's I run acrossed has everyones mark on the wrapper. Last rolls I searched even has one guy defacing coins to mark his........

The good scores I did make I can contribute to about 4 individual rolls for all rolls searched. The rest have all come 1-2 at a time....the "grind". Never found a 90%er but I don't do any real volume as the low volume I normally do really isn't worth the hassle but it is kinda addicting. Doubt I could ever totally quit and will continue to "dabble"......

It's also not going to get any better as the supply shrinks a little more as every day passes......

    PS...grabbed 15 bwr halves...skunk

I've got 96 coins to get 1000. 9.6%! And it seems like it's just not meant to be.

That's great that you have got so close. It may take a little longer then you like but you will get there. Maybe if you have a day off from work you can drive an hour or two away and just hit up every bank in that area and see if you have any luck.

    Box #94 of Halves: 1-40%
    Box #95 of Halves: Skunk
    Box #96 of Halves: 1-90%
    Box #97 of Halves: 1-40%

That box ties my record number of searched boxes in a month. BRUTAL last two months, with average 40%/90% finds of .716/.232. Seems much lower though.

That sounds like a great idea! I've never tried outside of my immediate area. I could also dump all my silver to enjoy the sport once again. :S
