    Nice pick-up ...

    => yah, you've really gotta love a mintage of a mere 38,550, eh? (sweet)

    Well, I have "almost" finished this 50 Cent piece album ...

    Yup, but probably like many of you, I only need to score a "1947 Maple Leaf Curved 7"

    => sadly, a FINE-12 is listed at $2,000 ... so I probably won't be filling the ol' spot anytime soon!! (*sigh*)

    I've posted a few bad-quality shots of my efforts ... ummm, hopefully I haven't already posted these photos? (I'm getting a bit old and forgetful)

    => oh, and I also posted a couple of the nicer/rarer coins in the album:

    1947 Maple Leaf (straight 7) => 38,433 minted
    1948 => 37,784 minted

    ... *sweet* ...

    Hi guys => hey, can one of you please do me a favour?

    If you double-click on one of the coin-album photos (above), does it "zoom-in" and allow you to read the mintage info, or does it only do that because I was the dude that submitted the photos?

    => thanks ... I'm sure that's a fairly low-tech question for most of you young and techy collectors, eh?

    thanks again

    Love these quarters, just a shame they so damn expensive in high grades. Got this single year on my last trip up North. Could not find a better one, but is OK.

    Derick => Super coin (absolutely fantastic toning!! great eye-appeal!!)

    ... yah, this may be my favourite year? (well, I like the 1936 dot year too) ...

    => oh, but this is the year where they didn't engrave DEI GRATIA on the reverse (that makes it unique and super-cool)

    I hope you don't mind, but I love my version so much I'm gonna post it as well!!

    Cheers, coin-brother (again, awesome new addition!!)

    The grade is strong on that one, must be worth a few.

    Got these in the mail today. My first large cents. Got them off ebay for $6. The auction was for 7 but I got 8 in the mail. The 1899(you can barely make out the date) was an extra. :)

    ICCS certified AU55 (so Charlton has it listed at $350)

    But I'm a total a-hole, so I cut it out of its sweet lil' ICCS flip and stuck it into my album, for I have zero intentions of "ever" selling any of my coins, so those nasty flips and/or SLABs have no place is stevex6's collection (yah, I realize that you dudes will probably think that I'm insane for freeing my coins, eh?) ... oh well, we all have our own collecting habits, right?

    => in my eyes, my coins are meant to be "experienced" by their current owner (oh, that's me by the way) ...

    Geeesh, hopefully I don't now receive a whole s-load of hate mail?!!

    ;)

    Cheers, brothers!! (I hope that you're all having a great weekend)
