1888 Indian Head Penny

    I have one and just wondering what it is worth. Sorry my camera broke. I will try to get a new one tomorrow. Also, it looks like an 8 over 7

    It all depends on condition...if it is heavily worn, like a G4 grade coin, probably a buck or two. But as I said, it really depends on the condition of the coin, and for that we would need pics.

    thanks, i looked at it a bit more and in the description i put an 8 over 7. I dont know what that means, but that is what it is.

    Well, the 1888 8/7 is a rare and valuable variety. You would definitely need to post pics in order to confirm it, though...we can't really go just by word alone.

    I looked at other pictures of the same one and they said it was an 8 over 7, i said i dont know what it means. But, that is what they said.o_O

    It can be a very difficult process to confirm you have an overdate. Are you looking at pictures online to make your determination? Try to post some pictures of your coin and we can try to help.
