This poll and http://www.cointalk.com/threads/guess-the-grade-574.237159/ will be closing tonight. Answers will probably be late and standings not until Monday.
Again, the lines (nearly vertical) are die polish lines (aka die scratches). They both do not count against the grade and at least I cannot see them without a loupe. I suspect "the scratch" you are talking about is on Abe's cheek. I cannot find that one without a loupe. However, I can, with difficulty, find 3 other nicks all in the fields. (At the M in AMERICA, below LIBERTY and in front of the nose) The luster is real nice even though there is kind of a matte finish. Apparently, PCGS thought this was a full strike even though I can tell the O is weak. Somehow, PCGS gave this a 67. Now compare this one to GTG #569 and tell me how this is a 67 and that 35 is a 66. In all honesty, this picture really accentuates this coin’s bad points.
Wow! 67 never crossed my mind . I sure thought that scratch on Abes cheek would have limited it to a 66 . Sure is crazy how the pics make it looks so big .
