Hi, a few years back my grandfather passed away and left a few coins to me, I'm not really a coin collector myself so I was wondering if they were worth anything? There are more but these worth stuck out.

The half $ is worth melt, so about $7.80 today's price.

The silver eagle is melt, $21.62 today, and the dealer will probably offer you less, for his profit margin.

Perhaps, but the OP asked how much they are worth, and not how much he, with added effort and risk, may be able to squeeze on the bay; it would be wise to remember that not everyone wishes to run off to ebayland to sell a few inherited coins.
