I'm going to repeat your 1837 Seated Liberty dime because it is important. It was a one-year only design; No Stars on the obverse..
Here's the other years I can do. A gap means either I don't have that year OR there were no coins struck that year (I didn't do the research). 1836 1835 1834 1833 1832 1831 1830 1829 1828 1826 1825 1821 1820 1818 1814 1811 1810 1809 1807 1800 1798 1795 1794
I'm waiting on 1835 as I have a few coins I can do from then. I can do 1829, 1827 from the 1820s. I can do 1817 from the 1810s (though I would prefer someone else post this one) I can can do 1804 from the 1800s. I can do 1788 (will let others post this one as well, will only post if no one has it), 1787, 1786, and 1783 for US colonials from the 1700s.
I can do 1834-36 1830 1825-8 1823 1820 1819 1817 1814 1810 1798-1808 1795 (3 absolutely great ones one in the mail just shipped today I can't wait!!) 1794 (another great one) 1793 and 1786-88
Being the 4 major things I collect is early dollars large cents trade dollars and Morgans (just cc or outstandingly toned) I'm really strong in the 1973-1810 and 1873-93 dates I seem to have accumulated a lot of capped bust silver though not as bad thing
Kanga I love your no stars dime they did the 1838 -o too is in my opinion one of the prettiest coins struck just simple elegance now if I could just get a Gobrecht dollar!!
Looks like we have a couple people who have collected some pre-Federal coins. That's good because I've never gotten into those items. I'd like to have a 1792 Half Disme Pattern but that's not going to happen. So 1793 will be the oldest I (maybe) will ever have.
Me too on the 1792 half disme hope someday along with the 1794 dollar and the small eagle half but I do collect colonials as well I'm of the opinion the earlier the better and as I live in an 18th c house full of 18th c furniture it's only natural near the top of my affordable (sometimes) want list is a couple examples of the Massachusetts tree coinage as I don't think I'll be as lucky as a friend who found an oak tree sixpence in an early house he was taking down (I've tried to buy it several times!!)
Pre-federal have captivated my interests recently. Oldest being the 1783 Constellatio Nova...but it'll might take a while before I can post that one.
Oh, and if possible, between years, if it isn't too much, put some time between years. I had a few I woulda liked to post.
NICE Capped Bust dime. I've only got two (1821 and 1834), one of each design for my type set. I've got a bunch of Capped Bust half dimes (1829-1837). I'm working on a die marriage set of them; something just over 120 die marriages. But it currently is VERY back burner so I haven't added to it for a year or so. And it will never be a great set since I've been accepting anything that I can identify the die marriage on. So there are LOTS of raw coins, many with problems.
