are the regular SBA s worth keeping? ive thrown back entire rolls before because i find so many. one time i searched 100 dollars, and found 63 SBAs (one was a 1981, but i sold it )

Only the wide rim 79p from what I know. I've only found 1 each of the 81 P D and S also.

 

1945 and 1955-D wheat Pennies and a 1955 nickel I've been searching for.

 

Boxes #94-#97 of Halves: 1-40% (In the first roll of the second box! Don't you hate when that happens! The mind immediately starts to extrapolate a monster box.)

September Totals:
$48,500 searched plus some loose rolls. That's my record!
78-40%, 25-90% and 0 dimes. 20.5 oz of silver.
Also my record low 40% finds at .804/box!

Still 4 away from 1000 coins.

Pulled another red 56d and a 1917 that is more verdigris than copper at this point 15 total wheats in the last box.

 

$20 CWR halves - 2x66

 

Box of Halves: 3x90% (all '64), 7x40%
Got 2 more to pick up at the same bank.

September was abysmal. I only searched 11 boxes total for the month but I found 12 silver coins (5 War nickels, 7 40% halves). Hopefully, October will be better.

 

Another good day at work:
10 Wheats!: '40, '41, '44, '45, '49, '53, '54, '57, '58x2.
Nickels: '39, '51

 

October starts out pretty bad with 4 Skunk boxes of Halves.
Still 4 away from 1000 coins.
Did find my first large cent. Too bad it was only part of a magicians coin.

 

Well, thanks to the vermin in Congress, I have some time on my hands to do some rare mid-week roll hunting so I cracked open box #5 of bank rolled pennies.

- 7 Wheats: 1941, 1944, 1949, 1956-D, 1957-D (2), 1958-D

- 1959, 1959-D

- 562 in pre-83 copper.

This box was definitely a little light on "fun" coins, but not a bad haul in copper (at least for this area). I'll take it.

 

$9.50 in halves... 2 40%.

That's 1001 silver coins for the year!
The breakdown is 705-40%, 268-90%, and 28 dimes.
Now the new goal for the year is 1000 halves.

Very impressive BC. Congrats on your 1000th silver coin for the year. I'm at 389 for the year. My goal for 2013 is 500 silver coins.

 

wow you guys look thru so many coins. i simply do $100 in dimes every other pay check.

 

Y'all are smoking me. Im at 29 wars, 4 dimes, 1 quarter, 25-40%, and 4-90% halves...But I'm at 5 IHC's and 1425 Wheaties

Let's see. About 5 Wheats per box, 2500 coins per box. Beeboop beeboop bee.. 712500 coins searched!!! HOLY COW! Now that's impressive! Considering that you can't just edge check. you obliviously drop and listen, but I even find that to be slow. I've still got $60 that I haven't gone through because I got tired/bored.

 

Box of Halves: 17x40% and 2x2000S proofs.

Another great box. That puts me at 406 silver coins for the year!
(Breakdown: 65 Wars, 8 dimes, 1 quarter, 35x90% halves, 297x40% halves)

Right now, I'm on pace to finish the year at 536. We'll see!

Also, I'm off to a smokin' start for October...3rd day in and 27 silver coins to show for it.

All done with halves for the week. I've got 2 boxes of nickels and my first penny box to search this weekend.
