I work at a local supermarket in their money office. I have to count all of the money that the store made for the day so I am surrounded by coins and bills. I've found wheats, foreigns, silver, and even a few star notes. I just got promoted to this position last week and i'm finding a lot more coins than I was as a cashier. I love it. I'll be working later today so I will post my finds tonight.

yes they do swap out $100 in dimes fee free. well, I got another $100 in dimes and was going thru them and I was thinking it was gonna be another SKUNK but on the very last roll I found a 1964-D 90% Roosie dime. my girlfriend took a pick of her Canadian cent ender roll. yes I know it's just 1 silver dime but it really gets me excited to find silver coins at face value. the dime to the left of the 1964 dime is a 1966 dimes that looks like patinated copper.... pics: jun21 018.jpg jun21 019.jpg jun21 019.jpg jun21 021.jpg jun21 020.jpg jun21 017.jpg

I picked up my 4th box of BWR pennies on Thursday and just finished picking through it this morning. Nothing special to speak of, but at least the copper haul was decent.

    - 1942-D, 1944, 1946-D, 1949-D, 1952-D, 1953-D, 1959 (2), 1959-D (4)

    - Canadian 1967, 1986, 1999

    - 542 copper cents

I'm off to the bank this morning to trade the zinc for nickels and any halves they happen to have laying around.

    $60 in CWR nickles = 1942 S
$60 in CWR Quarters = 1952 1957 both from the same roll

Killed off $200 in nickels last night - only 1 war(42s) but it was a hole filler. I'm down to just 3 to finish off my book (39d, 43d, and 50d)

    $75 in pennies gave me 26 wheats (oldest 1919), a 1948 and 2007 Canadian hole filler, and a 1972 DDO#2. :) :) My 2nd this year. 4 more boxes to go!

Hey Tabor. Were any of those SBA's 1981? I still need 3 (P,D &S) to complete my collection. I might just have to get a box and look if there are any in the wild.

    Box #82 of Halves: Skunk
    Box #83 of Halves: 1-40%
Box #84 of Halves: 1-Walker! Haven't seen one of those in quite a while!
    Box #85 of Halves: 4-40%, 1-90%
    Box #86 of Halves: 3-40%
    Next 6 boxes all Skunks
    Box #93 of Halves: 1-40%, 2-90%.

Things seem to be picking up. I hit a dry spell over the last 60 boxes with the exception of only a few finds.
    5 away!

No, most were 1979 and there were a few 1980 but no 1981. However, I'm sure with some persistence, you'll be able to find some.

BWR. The box gave me 19 wheats total. Unfortunately all 40s and 50s.
