I've been after one a while, I now want the other mint, Calcutta I believe without chop marks (I originally wanted them anyway)

And the 1994 Gibraltar £1 piece

I now have nearly every circulating issue from gib going back to the 1842 quarts system with Queen Vic on the back. I need a 2005 £2 and a &2 coin with the cannon on (can't remember date) and a run of Xmas issues although I have around 5anyway)

Awesome, what makes it better is they pay homage to Napoleon with his ships colonies and commerce theory.

One thing,"do you know why are coins from Mauritius a British commonwealth priced so high. a 1838-1900's Crown or Dollar silver coin cost an arm&leg!!!!

    I wasn't aware there was a Mauritius crown ?
All I've seen are the 1,2,5,10 & 20c coins and the 25&50 sous actually.. Other than that all crowns are new arent they ?

Nothing issued under official British origin I would imagine.. Actually I know that the 8r would have been the large silver denomination because the anchor money was issued in Mauritius Aswel as the windies !
