well oldest end on a roll was a 1859 IHC that i got today, but inside a roll i think was an 1890s IHC and the oldest wheat was a 1916, these being (possibly) unsearched rolls from flea-bay

A worn almost flat large cent with no date found in a roll of halves. An expert indicated that the date was an 1814 based upon characteristics on the reverse.

An Edwardian British Long Cross Silver Penny in a roll of dimes.

Hey all, I am new to CoinTalk as well after reading for several months. I am mostly a penny roll searcher, only been at it casually for six months or so but already found a nice 1905 IH in a bank roll as well as a 1909. I feel pretty lucky because I've seen that some people go years without finding an IH in the wild.
