1979 error ?? damaged

    under his ear we can see it got fat line what is that ?? no its not a hit

    what makes you think this is not a hit ? I can see where it looks like something has dug into the coin and pushed up a ridge of metal below the ear. if this happened a long time ago the hit area would have toned back by now to match the rest of the copper cent.
