1977 Rotated Die error?

    Is the rotation on the reverse side of this cent normal or is
    it a rotated die?

    Did you flip it over top to bottom or left to right?

    top to bottom but i slabbed it to make sure I wasnt rotating it.
    this is how i was really able to see if it was rotated. is this rotation normal?

    That's a keeper. 15 degrees or less rotation is considered in tolerance by the mint. Yours appears to be about 25 deg. CW. They don't have much value at this rotation, but it is an error.

    a lot of cent coins in the late 70s and 80s have about this much rotation. at one time I was keeping these but decided to stop saving them.

    Awesome find, and a great way to find the doubling. I am going to havew to go out and buy 50,000 penny 2x2's now, lol.
