Here is one of my most recent. GSA 1922 Peace Dollar. The card says it's circulated, but it sure has some luster and frostiness. What do you think? IMG_4918.JPG IMG_4918.JPG IMG_4919.JPG IMG_4919.JPG

That coin you bought has problems--it has been cleaned, and will never see the inside of a problem free slab.

Interesting coincidence, right about 2 years ago when I narrowed down my focus to one coin. The most interesting part of the coincidence is in as far as my feeble memory can put together.... is the blue toning and how its not consistent to the edge of the raised details, both were first for us coming from the same place. It's been pointed on forums from pictures that I ve posted past that thats an indication that the coin was wiped possibly with something wet at some poinn its life. Here is my first blue meanie that coincidentally also from charmy in a PCGCS holder 64BN

I've a number of these blue toners graded as genuine artificial color and details cleaned.

Stunning coins everyone.... Toners abound! And I really like that Gold Buff Trio, Chief!

This ole gal came in the mail for me Thursday and as far as being "VG" cleaned, I'm pretty happy with it! The obverse looks more along the lines of a "Fine", but NGC must have net graded a little for the reverse....including it's rim ding.

Yes, it will probably remain my oldest US coin for a while. Just a mere 7 years after the revolution...and I didn't get too bad a deal on it, either. :)
