Probably... That's an occupation coin, right? I suppose that, so long as it's not the "A" version, it would be rare enough to requisite slabbing/grading.

In the case of zinc, though, it might be the only way to preserve it...

I agree with zinc - put it in an airtite and store it in cool and dry conditions with a desiccant.

Also if you slab it, you'll know exactly what it worth, in the coin world !

I am myself looking for some of the no swastika post war coins myself, preferably the Berlin and Muldenhutten mints - and the little varmints are near to next to impossible to find without spots etc.

The piece above is pretty chilling - can you imagine being in the GeneralGovernment part of Poland and getting one of those in change? From the appearance it seems to have been designed to convey a not so subtle message.

It appears to be mint state (maybe MS64 or better?).

Please take good care of the coin so that future generations can see it in this high grade of preservation. Never allow it to be touched and don't leave it exposed where it might be hit by water/saliva when people speak over it. I trust you will keep it in a hard plastic flip, air-tite, or slab.

    Thanks for sharing it.
