I don't think it's an S , is it?

 

Its worth giving it a proper burial, I`m sure it used to be a nice coin.

 

Poor fellow. He's been through a myriad of misanthropic malady's........

 

I guess I can't use that one for my Book Darn! And i am only missing two coins 1909-1998

I am not seeing an S nor the VDB. Without the S, it is about worthless.

 

with it here I can see it a friend sent it to me as a joke

 

I see what looks like 3 S mint marks and what may be part of the VDB but someone drilled a hole thru this . LOL

Are you the lady that once sold a lot of these 1909 cent coins on Ebay with the imaginary S mitmarks ? who ever that was said they could see the S mintmarks all over those worn out coins.

 

I sure don't have any Ideal How this would happen to a coin.. But its diffrent! so I might just slab it as damaged , Make it one of my free one. Buy the way anyone like my profile picture on the stained glass window I made for a friend coin collector ?

 

It is damaged and there is no S mintmark.

 

And with the "S"?

 

Nothing but a guess, but I will bet you could sell it for several bucks. The 09-S goes for $65 in good on the greysheet.
