I won't even pretend to know the criteria differences between PCGS and NGC when it comes to grading the Lincoln series.

To me this 1992-D very much looks like an MS69RD. However, seeing the huge difference in price comparison, I would say that it would be no slam dunk crossing the coin from NGC to PCGS.

A PCGS 1992-D MS69RD is priced at $4850, whereas the NGC guide for the same grade is $1130. For that much disparity in price I would walk the coin to PCGS in hopes of getting the same grade.

This coin has a lot going for it, including a great possibility of crossing.

Here is a picture of the 1992D that Robec is referring too. I agree on this one. There are some in my collection that I just cannot figure out why they did not make the grade at MS69

Another couple of images from Robecs Imgaes. Here are my NGC MS69RD 1994 and 1994D Lincoln Memorials with current NGC population of 1 and 3 respectively. Both of these coins were picked and submitted by the same dealer that I have been doing business with for some time. Both of these coins will be turning 20 next year so I know in time these populations will rise significantly. I will enjoy while I can and I hope you do as well

GI Joe, both of the '94's are truly impressive; however, the "D" just jumps out at you. Sometime earlier in this thread the "PL" designation was discussed - it seems to me that this is a great example of a qualifying LMC!

Nice 52!!! I agree with CAC...look at that luster! This is a prime example of how a couple of minor ticks mean nothing next to luster glow. Excellent pictures too man! NICE all around!
