    Cool stuff as usual WC, although I can't say the second one looks very nice.

    I agree with vlaha that this is cool stuff, but I can't disagree more about the second coin (Caracalla). Both are very nice coins and I would love to have either in my collection. The SS is specially nice. I saw one on the Bay recently but did not bid (I don't remember why, but the price was probably more than I wanted to spend).

    That's just the pic - it looks like a scan, and they always look poor. The coin itself appears to be in great condition. Good stuff, WC.

    I have one Caracalla to share, of the following year, COS IIII, 213...

    Bing, how do you get 211 for that coin? My sources say Caracalla's Consul IV was in 213.

    The second is a very poor scan (I really need to take good photographs of it...)

    In hand, it is a nice XF, from an old collection, with grey toning with a black-blue 'gasoline-like' stripe.

    @Steve

    I've been putting a lot of time into a video game (Minecraft), where I am currently building an Island Fortress and a walled mainland settlement to supply all of the mined goods, food and wood to said Fortress (it's all just a shell, with a population of 1 (my character), but it is a massive design).

    After I finish, I plan on recreating a Legionary Fort (like the one that was located in York), after this, but each of these projects take a long time.
