Picked up my weekly 2 boxes of nickels and 8 boxes of cents. Was only 7 boxes of cents though because the delivery guy dropped one on the ground and it smashed all over the place. I was wondering why I found a few pennies outside the bank :p. Didn't matter though because the other 7 boxes are all solid 2013p. The nickels gave up 2 wars (45p&45d - a whitman hole filler), 3 canadian, 1 peso, and 20 cents singapore. I also got a really nice 39 that still has a mint luster and almost full steps on the reverse. Couldn't believe that when I saw it.

I'm down to just 4 nickels to complete my set from circulation. :)

    Argh!
Boxes #32 - #35 of Halves: 1 Ben and my first ever gold plated 1967. I'm going to want a premium for all that extra gold on my silver coin. HAHA

Oh, and as I'm dropping off my coins a young guy is standing at another window telling the clerk that he came across this old looking $20 bill. He asked if she could check to see if it was real. I'm sure I saw red on the bill. She comes back a few moments later and so calmly tells him that yes it's real and would he like to exchange it for a newer bill.
I was so tempted to ask her for it WHILE he was standing there, even if just to educate him, but I was in a rush and it's doubtful she would be willing to part with HER $20 bill now. Man that was cold!
Where can I get a job as a teller if people are so naive to give valuable bills and silver coins away?

    $300 CWR dimes:
    2 Silver - 1961-D, 1964
1 Luxembourg 1 franc 1988 - apparently an unplated steel coin that was starting to rust already - when I was in Luxembourg pre-Euro the coins were chrome plated steel.

    $100 CWR nickels:
    2 '30s Jeffersons no mintmarks
    14 pre-1960s
    1 silver war nickel - 1945-S
    2 Canada YH, 1962
    1 Bahamas 5c 1973

Picked up $200 in dollar coins and $100 in quarters.
Dollars gave me a 2009S James Polk Proof Cameo, 2003D NIFC Sac, and a 2012P Sac.
Quarters were skunk except for a 2009D Arizona. I thought I hit silver when I opened the roll. The rim is silver. Unfortunately it isn't. I weighed it out of curiosity and it weights 5.86g which is more than a clad but less than a silver. I'm guessing it is plated or something. Sad panda.

Was finally able to get a box of nickels yesterday. Two wars (44P and 45P) and a Buff (30). Still trying to find a place by me to get halves.

Lurking for a while now, but decided to sign up and start contributing.

From $10 customer rolled pennies, I pulled: 1935, 1941, 1949, 1952, 1958 (2) wheats none with mint marks, so I'm assuming all came from Philadelphia. Added another 210 other pre-83 copper cents to the small but growing stash.

Doing mostly cents lately. Getting 26% copper over the last month.
Nothing all that juicy, except a 69 proof that looks awesome in the Dansco.

Today at work I had a customer pay with 17 halves. I got excited as he was placing them onto the counter but unfortunately there was no silver :/

Of the 2 years I have worked there, this was only the second time I have had a customer pay with halves.
