Other new purchase. Grabbed it just because you don't see much bullion slabbed other than official type stuff
Hit my local monthly coin auction last night and did quite well. Two 1894-Os and the 1904-O in hand has beautiful luster with the edge toning.
And finally had to quit cause the auction ended!! Also picked up some toned Eagles at the auction. Have a few more and these are just a couple of them.
people are probably sick of seeing Reverse Buffalos. but I picked up this NGC 70 from a guy I know. took some quick photos. photographing this coin is challenging.
if i sold everything that i own three times over, i would still not have enough money to buy a buffalo gold coin.
I was talking to Daniel Carr about the baseball design he had and he said he might make it in a curved planchet, one side deeply indented, and the other side popping out. Is the coin you got like that?
What makes you think small motto? On the large motto the leaves to the right are connected to the motto and on the small motto the leaves are connected by a stem. In this case the leaves are connected straight to the motto - so large motto. Just trying to see how you determined the variety.
Went to a local auction tonight and bought a coin lot that had these 2 along with a circulated 83-o morgan and 22 peace that I had little interest in along with buying a massive truckload of antique furniture and furniture parts that is how I pay the bills and support my collecting habit
