It looks like a common peace dollar unless I missed something so about $25-$30.

I think you have missed something... it looks like both sides are pushed up a little (aka off center) possibly making it 30-35 but not to much of a difference... but if im wrong sorry i only i have one peace dollar.

When and why did 'no problem' replace 'you're welcome'?
This irks me to no end.

No problem is pretty much your welcome... Its like someone asks you to pick them up eggs when you go to the supermarket and its no hassle to you so you say no big deal, it was nothing, or no problem... and im 14 everyone says that lol! I guess i was just used to saying no problem but Isaac you are welcome

This makes no difference in the value because it is so subtle and the coin is in such poor condition. The coin is worth it's weight in Silver - that's it.

Well because it is a US coin it is always worth a little more than the value of silver. I think the thick bottom is the angle which the picture was taken.

And that creates a shadow looking like a thick bottom. I like thick bottoms, though.

So you're telling me you'll pay me a premium above spot for my circulated 1964 Kennedy halves? :p

Is it worth melt to most? Sure. Will a 1923 Peace sell for a premium? Yes. My coin shop has junk/common/cleaned Peace and Morgan's for +5 right now. Ebay is more than that.
