Where To Buy Morgan/Peace Dollars?

After having to sell my collection a few years back, I just got back into coin collecting. Mainly Morgan dollars and Peace dollars, some Walking Liberty's and Franklin halfs. My question is, besides Ebay... Where can I obtain a big number of these for fairly cheap? I don't even care if they are AU,BU or anything, I just simply love having something as old as these. This coin collecting thing is more of an addiction

With garage sales it can be a hit or miss. Either they have some old coins or not. It's pretty rare though

 

Forums and craigslist are the best places. Get a rare earth magnet and learn the slide test.

 

I just go to my local coin stores. Prices vary but I just picked some up for $22 a piece and I have read other forum members have bought some less then that.​

 

You shouldn't have any problems with Morgans,Peace Dollars and Franklin's at your local coin shop in the Metroplex. I picked up 40 Morgans last week for $23.00 a piece

 

What is 'slide test'?

 

Are you wanting slabbed coins or raw? Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange has several stores around Dallas, and APMEX does alot of bulk raw coins. Most of my Morgans came from there.
