    There are quite a few coins that meet these conditions and are worth more than 670 US dollars. Not this one though, I'm afraid.

    Besides, the OP seems to know very well what coin that is - see this earlier topic: http://www.cointalk.com/threads/got-this-coin-today.234621/ Moved this to World & Ancient, but ... don't feed the trolls. ;)

    moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

    as we say in the UK you have been done like a kipper, $670 for that coin is a ridiculous price to pay, i have lotes of the 2 and 5 franc coins identical to that one that i can't give away they are that common...........

    i found a 1957 just like it in a roll of nickels. took it to the dealer and got 5 bucks for it
