I paid six hundered and 70 dollars for it did I do good I thought it was a steal Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
So you paid 670 dollars for a coin that you don't even know the origin of? Or am I missing something? Was this an ebay purchase or other?
It is from Belgium, it either a 1 or 5 francs, it will say on the reverse. Is there any chance you can get your money back.
Then maybe I'm missing something...I see a similar coin selling for $2 on ebay...is there a special issue this year that would make it worth $670? http://compare.ebay.com/like/150968478704?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar
This is why RESEARCHING a coin before you buy it is very, very important...when you don't even know where it's from, that should be a warning sign to actually think before clicking that "buy now"...I hope the OP can get a refund...otherwise this is just an expensive and unfortunate learning experience.
I'm pretty sure it's a Belgian coin with almost no numismatic value. Is it possible he meant 6.70, and the hundred was a typo?? Otherwise, I'm hoping the seller has a good return policy
I'm thinking that the OP is a "troll" (no offense). No one in their right mind would pay $670 for that: a coin less than 70 years old, not from the U.S., and not even in mint state condition!
No typo unfortunately, here is the quote from the original post... "I paid six hundered and 70 dollars for it"
