One of those coins I have had on my list but never spent alot of time to search for. Well one came up pretty cheaply and luckily I was able to get it without any fuss . Its common but for the price I at least have one of this denomination. Elagabalus (218 - 222 A.D.) AR Antoninianus O: IM PCAES MAVR ANTONINVS AVG - Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. R: P M TRP COS PP - Roma seated left, holding Victory and scepter; shield below. Rome 218 A.D. 4g 22mm RIC IV 1, Cohen 125
Nice coin Mat and congrats at getting it at such a low price. If we're patient (which I am not very good at), good buys do come along.

Nice!! Mat => that's a great lookin' Elagabalus ... I have a fairly similar example (well, I guess mine is actually a denarius, not an Antoninanus) ... Oh, and I also have a nice, big, fat E-Dawg Tet with an eagle on it ... man, ya gotta love those animal coins, eh?
