BAG MARK OR CLEANING MARK

This is a 1905 rupee..i photographed it in an angle..are these bag marks or cleaning marks....

Note that the lines do not go across any of the devices which suggests that the die was (poorly!) polished.

Chris i didnt get u...die was poorly polished or the coin was poorly polished?...is the coin polished or its normal coin MARK

 

The die was polished, and since on the die the fields are the highest point, the designs were not abraded.

 

thanks Vlaha..what grade can u attribute to this coin....

 

If I were going to be technical about it, than it would be a no grade because of the spot on the top left. Otherwise, I'd probably give it either a 64 or a58, depending on the luster of the high points.
