How old are you guys to have these cars ? They are from the dark ages ! I will allow anyone who has owned an E-type however to have some glory !
Since we're going back to Anglo Saxon times I guess my German coinage is ok then here are my latest 2... I also have a 1 1/2 pfennig coming of Georg I which will be my first coin of his from Brunswick
the crown 1935 was issued for the silver jubilee of George v--should have edge year XXV--known as the rocking horse crown
Of course rather scarcer, and consequently more valuable, were the Wreath Crowns, issued from 1927 to 1936. Mintage on some of these were very low, and collectors applied to the bank for one - the idea being that they were presented to family members to record some special anniversary. 1927 is the commonest, and will make GBP 120 upwards depending on condition. The 1934 is the scarcest, with only around 900 ever being produced, and consequently prices start around GBP 2500. Here is my 1930 example:
dark ages mark!!! the xk 120 was the greatest sports car ever built by jaguar....i also have an ss100 and an e-type. just love old jaguars.
I don't know what the other thing is ha ! They are cars from the dark ages though really.. They ain't no vauchall lotus Carlton !
Been meaning to post this one for a while - quite a tidy 1821 Crown - a few dints and eks, but not bad for a George IV:
Here are my latest some may have been repeated ! Could the above £2 coin be the best bi-metallic coin in the world ?
Sadly I have now listed my beautiful Gothic Crown for sale - on the "Well known auction site". There is a post in the Auction listing section. Now I am going to pour myself a stiff drink and then have a little cry!
I have tons of British Empire silver, it's a good part of my collection. My latest 2 are a silver 3 pence and silver 6 pence from Southern Rhodesia. Hard to take pics of them being so small.
